NEW FETISH

Unknowingly, I realised that I had a new fetish with dolls. Not just plain dolls. But Blythe Dolls. For those who do not know about Blythe Dolls, here is a little background knowledge on who they are...

"Manufactured by Kenner in 1972, the original Blythe (now known as "vintage") was produced for only one year and then was retired because of poor sales.
For 28 years, Blythe was a curiosity that only doll collectors were interested in.Then, in late 2000, she made her comeback in Japan when CWC produced a charming TV commercial for Parco department store starring Blythe. After the TV spotlight she became an overnight sensation in Japan and Asia.
In June 2001, to meet the popular demand of this new Blythe fanbase, CWC produced an 11 inch neo-Blythe doll, Parco Limited Edition, with the permission of Hasbro and the manufacturing help of Takara.
Since that launch, 62 and still counting! editions of neo-Blythe dolls have been produced. A year later, a 4 1/2 inch version of the Neo-Blythe was invented, titled "Petite Blythe" and affectionately called "Pucci". By the spring of 2006, there have been 100 and still counting! editions of the Petite Blythe doll produced.
Nowadays, Blythe's photogenic style can also be found gracing countless accessories and stationary goods the world over."

Totally love the 11-inch ones. However, not many places in Singapore sells Blythe and if they do, the price is out of this world (for me that is). Guess I will only be able to treat myself to one when I get my pay. Have yet to find myself a job, will definitely be starting one before the end of this month. I'm just praying hard that the next choice I make would be a correct one.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Kang Kang for giving me a call from Australia. Glad that you are doing fine. But I do seriously miss you and I do still hate you for leaving without dinner.

My chummies whom I have not met in a rather long time, sorry for not being able to meet up with you guys during the last round of dinner. I will arrange another one again and I do hope that nothing crops up and that all of us will be able to sit down and dine at 'Ma La Huo Guo'.

To the darling who has been sick and have yet to recover, remember to take your medication on time and always remember to drink more water.

With much love to everyone.
