Those payments were love gifts: William Tan

PROMINENT paraplegic athlete William Tan Kian Meng claimed that a woman who is suing him for some $400,000 had given him more than half of that, not lent it to him, as they had been in an 'intimate relationship'.
Details about Dr Tan's relationship with Dr Stephanie Chee Jok Heng, 51, emerged in court when his lawyer cross-examined the woman on the first day of the hearing into her lawsuit.
They had even gone on trysts to hotels, claimed Dr Tan. But Dr Chee, a divorcee with three daughters, flatly denied allegations that they had been lovers and insisted that the two had merely had a 'Christian platonic kind of relationship'.

2. William, if you are a real man, please have the dignity to return the lady what she claimed if indeed you have taken the money from her be it a loan or a gift of love since she demanded it. Save us men from such disgrace.
[my take?: totally agree... useless man...]
3. If some woman want to give me $200K+ as love gift...makes me a prostitute?
[my take?: some men just need help at certain points in their life... does not necessarily consititute to him being a prostitute la... but yeah, point well taken...]
4. (...a reply to the above comment) Nope, accept it gracefully. However, when for whatever reason it has been demanded and you refused to return it, then yes, you are no different and definitely worse than a prostitute!
[my take?: hahaha... that's quite funny... it does make sense though...]
